Miles - Word Prism

spaces spaces
the very first day where
you left the womb

traffic still running on
windshield wipers against rain
shaking meter

watching this foggy
sidewalk, your body inside
a million other lives

spaces spaces
either before or behind
you leave them

Paige, you always leave a "space" for musings to live, like water filling in a space. If this is for a contest, best wishes! May blessings fill each one of your spaces.

' the very first day where you left the womb. ' That thought is powerful, Paige. Miles to go, into the unknown. Your thoughts are tender and beautiful. Hugs, Brandy

You are like Shakespeare in the sense that your lines would make for fascinating discussion, breaking down each of them one by one to get into your head intentions with each written word as a deliberate set up for the next word. Fascinating, I cannot write this way, it doesn't live in me as it does you. Again, I leave you the word fascinating. (I just checked the contest requirements, read poem again and BAM it all came together for me, Brilliant!)

Yes !! I get the sound now. Don’t mind my suggestions. I make them with good intentions to improve our craft. Or we all stagnate in glow glibs, just to get a placing on a community chart. Love Xx.

Fascinating prism for Miles, Paige. Good juxtaposition between spacial & concrete. Perhaps think about strengthening the sound ? Have goodie day/night. Great Love. X

Hello, Hun. I wasn't satisfied with it either, the "sound" - so went ahead and changed it. Thanks. As long as I don't plagiarize I am free to suggestions (although sometimes will leave as is) Great Love X :)
