Hi Diane! Both tankas are lovely and are based on imagery. If I were to chose between the two, I'll go for the first one....sunflowers ... they remind me of Tuscany and Van Gogh! All the best. // paul

Do you know Van Gogh is my favourite painter. Being a dabbler with paints my sunflowers are a great joy to paint. Thank you for liking my imagery. Love playing with words while prosing in the Easter style of poetry. Very challenging---clears the mind and very rewarding when other poets, like yourself....read and enjoy them. I am glad I shared these as I am always glad to read your also---imagery poems!.......didee

You are so generous to me today. Thank you and thank you. Sunflowers are a favourite flower that I like to paint as well. When young and coming upon an autumn seeded flower. I used to reach up high and as with daisy petals----play loves me not! So glad you enjoyed and I hope it brought back some childhood memories for you also! Blessed blessings....didee
