Mightier Is the Pen

There are those whose thoughts're profound
but fail to pen 'em, to write 'em down
Word’s a'spoken disspipate
but those a'written can change e'en Fate
'tis battles with wit we ought to fight
Minds a’busy, Pens in sight
A skirmish he’d rather - fool engage
than use his trusty, God-given brain
brawns o'er brains is not the way
fools will anon abhor that day
True it is, what's been said,
that Mightier not, is Sword, than Pen.
To leave a legacy is Man’s lot
don’t fail - record it, complete the plot.
