Midst of Silence
In the midst of silence, echoes whisper loud
Longing for your voice, a symphony profound
Fragrant memories linger, haunting my space
Your scent, like a flower, still brings solace and grace
Oh, how your warmth embraced me, a tender flame
Now distant, your absence leaves an empty frame
I yearn for the touch that once set my heart ablaze
Lost in the wilderness, longing for your maze
Eyes that danced with mischief, locked me in a trance
Now I search in the haze, searching for that glance
Lips that were heaven's gate, sealing fate's decree
Only echoes remain, aching for the ecstasy
Passion unleashed, entwined souls filled with fire
Now a distant memory, fading with each desire
Your understanding soul, a sanctuary of peace
Oh, how I miss that sanctuary, my heartache won't cease
Love poured like a river, flowing unconfined
Now a reservoir drained, I seek what I once called mine
Bodies intertwined, the symphony of love's embrace
Now echoes reside, a lingering touch, I chase
Yet through it all, the truth remains clear and stark
I yearn for your presence, I long for your mark
For in honesty's grip, I confess without pretense
My longing is simple, to have you once again, immense.
