Midnight's Bride

The night is sunless,
And the road is rough.
A mission, set out
To wander alone…
With just drops of dew
To quench my thirst.
The forest is thick
With brambles and thorns,
But the midnight’s bride, the Moon,
With her veil of light…
PENETRATES THROUGH.

Nicely done, Kaveesha - this is exquisite - congratulations on your win in Brian's contest - blessings, and "write on", my friend! :-)
