Midnight Skyline

In the city's darkened veil Where shadows dance and dreams fail I search for the ghosts of my past Echoes of love that didn't last The midnight skyline stretches wide A canvas of stars, where hearts reside I see the silhouettes of what's been Memories etched, like the city's skin In this urban wilderness, I roam A stranger in the night, without a home Yet, in the darkness, I find a spark A flame that flickers, a light in the dark
