Midnight Sky

The half-moon lies low and bold in the starry night sky
A remnant of it's once glorious full-moon past

But lo' the half-moon will rise
To it's former full-moon glory

The stars will rue it's rapid ascension
To regain the night's throne
As the full-moon takes it's rightful place
As ruler of the night-sky
