Midnight Run

A sultry night, cascading blues dance in moonlight’s caress, through the mossy-laden cypresses. I see a gull flying in the sapphire and white clouds and think back to younger days, when we’d like in the grass and look for cloud animals. As silver moonbeams jitterbug among the waves, my heart beats in ecstasy, to the music of water laughter. La Bella Luna’s a veritable charmer.

Sometimes, when the water is choppy, it can appear as if the waves are jitterbugging. Thanks.

Clouds have always fascinated me - they change form while you lie on the grass looking at them. However, nearly everyone sees something different in them. Great write, very creative. Blessings, Jennifer

I loved doing that as a kid, I still enjoy them but it's a bit harder to get down on the grass these days. Thanks.

Ah, those 'cloud animals.' What a wonderful memory (for most -- I still look for them. Seriously... as well as faces of people I know... Hmm….). Thanks, M.L. ~ Gershon

Well they do say that "everyone has a twin somewhere"; I suppose some are clouds! Thanks
