Midnight Pearl

The ancient midnight pearl,
governed by a obfuscated sea of mysteries.
Mid night pearl hermetically sealed,
in the tenebrous clams mouth.
Midnight pearl, calmly laying on a bed of sand.
Far below, dark below, but still gleaming.
Round.
Lustrous.
Flawless.
Brilliant.
Distinctive.
Inner glow.
Precious sheen twinkling,
through nebulous water.
An untouched opalescent, smooth midnight pearl . Lost in dark.
Tossed by waves and tangled in hands of sea weed.
Waters controlled by her father, midnight moon.
Ancient lustrous round midnight pearl.
Swaying beneath aphotic waters,
of her mothers abdomen,midnight waters.

Hello, Elliott, you have a certain way with the pen, others have not inherited. Love this verse, deep with beauty...I Hope you do not mind me bothering you, I enjoy stopping by poets who never snot-ted me away. Anyways. I know you have not been on for a while. I just want you to know that, even though I did not or do not comment on your poetry as much, I just want you to know I have not stopped reading or stopping by your work. I'm tired of reading your old, or the same poems. I keep coming back, to see if I missed a new one. Hopefully next time I come back, you have a new one for YOUR followers out here. Missing your wonderfulness through poetry, take care :-) PD
