Midnight Dance

A dance at midnight two faint shadows in the moonlight gliding across the terrace stretching into morning sun rise. No desire for an end even as the day awakes set the music to restart rewind and play continuous over and over and over again. Was it our song they played? So many songs listened and heard were ours alone to be shared ever newer ones written on the stars gathering those emotions of the midnight dance. Close your eyes let me touch your skin soft and caressing as the music plays in the background of evening light. What song is it playing? The title and the words escape me but for this moment, does it matter as we press close to one another and languish in the midnight dance. Forever it is here I die in dreams in your arms the moments eagerly recalled kept in imagery and loving care those minutes once lost to time but safe in memories of the midnight dance. Play the song again.

DM,it never ceases to amaze me the memories that can be stirred by a song or music for that matter. I thoroughly enjoyed the read.
