Mid Term Voting

**My goal with this poem is not to divide and conquer on issues, and its not even to take sides. It is met to be about voting. It has nothing to do with what is on the ballet, my feelings, my political takes or demonizing those who don't agree with where I stand. Today is the midterms are you voting? Today is the midterms are you instead boating? Do the issues of the nation have your head in a knot? Do you simply hate politics a lot? Do you think voting is a waste of your time? Do you think not voting is a crime? Did you first cast your vote in the 60’s for Kennedy? Or maybe in the 70’s for Carter? Maybe like me when you were in high school Bill Clinton was the man that was cool? Do you believe that many politicians will get canned? Or do you think it will go as some people planned? Today is voting day and it would be nice If the political sides didn’t act like fire and ice.

Can't say my voting record gets an A+ but I vote many election cycles, this mid term not included. I think if I vote and things go messy I can complain. I fail to vote and I can just shut up till next time when I do vote. But maybe that is oldschool thoughts.

hmmm, so you did not vote. This was my first time to ever vote mid election . Normally I only vote during president election!!

Can't agree with you more about your encouragement to vote, and your wish about 'candidate quality,' as they call it today. ~ Voted, holding my nose

I could only vote for all of one party since I feel there is one party that is worse than the other. I did a total turnabout from what I believed many years ago. I actually have no party to claim any more, but at least I voted.

I voted differently younger than I do now days. But I didn't vote this election.

It would be even nicer if people voted for the most competent candidate instead of a political party's choice of whom will support the best interests of that political party! Aloha!

So Utopia does not exist *at least on this side of heaven*, and I don't trust any of our political leaders. If they do well in issue A they suck at issue B. I think you can vote MORALS or you wallet, but never both at the same time. Its been said that one type of politician you can have in your bed, the other in your wallet.
