mild weather ahead
so says the news report
except for the wind
that frozen voice from the north
button up then till april

conjure now green vision
how happy those spring sounds
tulips thrusting up
refreshing smell of spring rain
just a winter’s nap away

I hope that spring reaches your neck of the woods soon also..We had a very mild winter here this year..We have had things blooming since way back even in December..A few days of warmth and there would be some blooms but of course we could get a winter surprise still ....Thanks for stopping by..Sara

Even in Florida "that frozen voice from the North" has produced howling winds for the past few weeks. Flowers are already blooming here, but dead tree branches are scattered everywhere. You give good advice, Daver. I would want to "nap away" AND "button up" until the weather is more stable. Excellent imagery, Daver. I can see everything you describe! Love, Carolyn

So you are in the winter's napping only stage? Is it still pretty cool over there, Daver. They predict 60 degrees and sunny in Utah today. I enjoyed this one. I know how much you love spring!
