Michigan Winter

Living here in Michigan 
Since winter 2008 first began
It has been bitter cold this season
So I want a really good reason
The temperatures are way too low
Even zero and some days well below
I've lived here all my life
But this is just way too much strife
A friend says it's global warming
Still I don't like all this constant snowing

Carolyn Devonshire February 16, 2009 at 2:42 PM Global warming seems like a myth at times. In fact, a friend told me some scientists say we are now headed for another ice age! And I think it's starting in Michigan, from what I see in your great poem. By the way, a note to Sharon. I live in Florida and it went down to 17 degrees one night last week! Best wishes, Carolyn
