Metamorphosis!
In the darkest hours of night, I weep,
Lost in dreams that steal my sleep,
A heart once whole, now cracked and frail,
Wandering through a stormy gale.
Whispers of a past that haunt,
Memories like ghosts that taunt,
In the mirror, eyes so tired,
Hope once bright, now expired.
But as the dawn begins to rise,
A spark ignites behind my eyes,
A whisper soft, a gentle nudge,
Urging me to leave the grudge.
With every tear, I feel the burn,
A lesson hard, but this I learn,
In the pain, a seed is sown,
In brokenness, I’ve truly grown.
Courage blooms like morning light,
Chasing shadows of the night,
A heart reborn, with wings to fly,
To touch the stars, to kiss the sky.
Through the struggle, strength is found,
In silence, I hear the sound,
Of a soul that’s finding voice,
In the chaos, there’s a choice.
To let the pain be my demise,
Or rise above, to higher skies,
From ashes, I am born anew,
With every breath, a clearer view.
I shed the past, like autumn leaves,
Embrace the change, the heart believes,
In every scar, a story lies,
A testament to how I rise.
In the dance of life's embrace,
I find my stride, I find my place,
A metamorphosis complete,
In every heartbeat, life’s sweet beat.
So here I stand, both strong and free,
The chains of yore now memory,
With open arms, I greet the day,
In love and hope, I find my way.
Metamorphosis, a sacred art,
Transforming soul, transforming heart,
In every trial, in every tear,
I find the strength to persevere.
