“what was it that crossed my face with the light from yours and your glance? what was it you saw in my face? the light of your own face, the fire of your own presence?”
“An empathic metamorph is a creature perceived to be the "perfect mate" by changing its persona and behaviour to meet another being's emotional requirements and sexual desires. It achieves this using a subtle form of telepathy which is more akin to empathy.”

Fresh love, unclouded by doubt, uncorrupted by conditions...a love that Death cannot cut...a very pretty song Poetess. Your use of mythology and the Metamorph is brilliantly done...J.A.B.

Thanks Justin. I've been told "unconditional" love doesn't exist. I beg to differ, unconditional love is attainable, through compromise and empathy with the people who are meant to be in your life, by your side in whatever capacity and whatever type of relationship, or circumstance - it could be the worst circumstance you could think of occurring in your life. Of course, Love is required, and some will say, there's the spanner in the works, conditions arise. A two edged sword. Even, in the worst conditions, if Love is there, a thing called Forgiveness will enter at some point. If a person is capable of finding forgiveness within themselves to the other, whether to the lesser or greater of occurrences in ones life, then Love is "unconditional". "Unconditional" Love can save lives. I kind of like the concept of Orpheus successfully making it out of Hades with Eurydice, and therefore her full freedom, not half-state. And of course, Orpheus, avoids the fate destined in his story.

Short but not simple. Complex in levels, delivery and meaning.
