Met Victory

Here is an ode 
    directed at fans 
of the New York 
    Metropolitans 
They won yesterday 
 5 -1 and remain at the top of their division
    That is great! 
Have you not yet checked out 
   their box scores yet
but I will 
No students have 
   arrived here yet 
 in the ESL lab 
   where I sit awaiting them
   But I dream of those who 
attempt to 
make it into the "show"
    My hat's off to them
