Messiah Limericks

The composer, George Fridiric Handel, wrote at night by the light of a candle, and there's nothing more finer than to hear his Messiah: a work so profound and substantial. A young bass was said to record a version of Thus Saith the Lord. Though the work was demanding, he was simply outstanding. Even Handel would have been floored! For a successful run of Messiah a good orchestra one will require. But really my dears it's been known for years the real star of the show is the choir!

Thank you, sir. Glad you enjoyed it. My wife and I have sung Messiah for several years with our choir and symphony orchestra, and we are looking forward to singing it again next month. Thanks again for the feedback. Take care.
