Messenger of Light

From his mouth bright ribbons flashed The thunder rolled, the lightning crashed A shot rang out and split the night A singing sound, cacophany,A THOUSAND bELLS, A SYMPHONY Fresh and sharp and clean and clear It fell on every living ear And some were moved and some were not The truth was COLD or PIPING HOT No lukewarm message rent the air To some great joy , to some despair And time stands still on that wondrous day when the messenger gives the TRUTH away
