Messed Up America

Sewn rows
Shattered bones
"Please don't take my baby away!"
She worked so hard to keep her child
There was no chance in begging them to stay
Broken families
Forced to work while in pain
Countries apart
Babies to homes
Children to farms
Parents worried from afar
What kind of country do we live in,
Where we steal foreign babies and sell them for meaningless cash
To families who don't give a crap?
And the government wonders why we constantly bash.

Yes it is messed up! Though all things at some point will balance. Part of the cycle of things wouldn't you agree? Thanks for sharing! Steve
