Message To the Media

News media’s job is to report what happened Tell me WHO WHAT WHEN WHERE! Please refrain from editorializing and, certainly, from undue sanitizing We do not need a lot of commentary from folks who want us to believe the contrary FROM THE LEFT, FROM THE MIDDLE, FROM THE RIGHT! Scrupulously tell us the truth, I say. If I want a journalist’s opinion, for goodness sakes, I will read the editorial page. Or, skim through the pages of USA Today. Hey, I am not stupid. I heard what was said. I can figure out the WHY! written July 4, 2021

I can only speak for myself. I must be stupid, because I continue to buy newspapers which purport to tell me how to think. When will I ever learn?! :) gw

Oh, it's probably a [bad] habit, gw. I get all of my news from sources I choose on my phone. Haven't seen a cablecast in ages! I got tired of them telling me how, what, and why to think.

I agree! I rarely read newspapers these days, not when I can read or hear the news on my computer from the better and more reliable news sources. I find FOX the most obnoxious of all. / Maurice

Indeed, Maurice. I no longer watch any news on cable television. I do, as you do, get my news from the more reliable news sources on my computer. I will occasionally read some report on FOX on my computer, but I find them a highly unreliable source. Thanks for your comments.
