Message To the Media

When I see a police officer come to school
I usually run up to them and put my hands out
Yelling “Take me! Take me!” 
This makes them laugh.
Reminding me that if I continue
I shall probably be safe.
One of our most notorious killers
Was usually dressed as a clown.
I will not mention his name, as
I do not believe in giving the
Perpetrators an identity, 
Until we stop giving glory
To the perpetrators, 
These insane school shootings
Will probably continue.
These diabolical, ridiculous
School shootings; the only
Way some loser-cowards
Can get their fame.
Media, please listen.
Stop advertising 
The perpetrators.
I do not want to know their life story.
I do not want to see their photos.
Please focus on the victims.
This insanity has to stop, and you are the front lines.

Just have them say "A BULLY-COWARD entered a school today." That is more than enough press for the BULLY-COWARD.

You know, someone had to say it; you said it well in this poem. It's very true; I feel for the kids growing up today; they feel hopeless, many of them and teachers like you can change lives.
