Message Not Sent
I message you “hi!”
You message back,
saying “what do you want”.
I just tell you,
“I love you!”
You say “lyt”,
and I start overthinking,
as I go to bed.
I message you when I wake,
saying “morning love!”
and shut my screen,
waiting for your reply.
Little do I know, I never get one,
because after I hit send,
it said “Message not sent”.
I try again, it says it again.
I realize there’s no point,
in trying to message again.
