Message In a Bottle

I was alone on the beach,
Just me and the waves.
The wind among the trees,
The sand tickling my feet.

I put a message in a bottle
Threw it wide,
It was bobbing on the waves,
Till it disappeared out of sight.

I stood gazing,
At the vast blue ocean,
Waiting for someone,
Who would answer my,
Message in a bottle.
