A lovely haiku Heidi. Beautifully simple, but says so much.

Wow! Superb haiku, Heidi. It's been very windy here and leaves are everywhere. On my window sill last night sat a big, green toad. He was so friendly he even left a "deposit" for me on the sill. Enjoyed your haiku. If for the contest, best wishes for success! Hugs, Carolyn

Oh my gosh. I just see your comment now, about the lizard on the window sill. I bet that was a shocking bite.!

Heidi, there was once a lizard I didn't see when I went to shut a window. It bit me! Was shocked. Didn't even know they had teeth.

Thank you so much Carolyn. No, it wasn't for a contest, but I appreciate your support. Wow, a toad on your sill! I haven't seen that. But I had a squirrel jumping up on one of them this winter. I hope you have a nice day. Hugs :)
