Mesmerizing Mountain Caves
Last year ,our family of eight
Made plans to head straight
For the hills housing the caves
During the kids summer break
Amidst good cheer,abundant frolic
The young ones climbed hoppity skip
The older were a tad slow
With peppy, resolute spirits though
It took us nearly half a day
Trudging up the maze like way
None did let out a sigh
Our goals set mighty and high
Sunset past, it got dark
But did manage to reach at last
The entrance of the heavenly caves
Oh! Straight out of some fairy tale!
Inside the sanctum just across
The magnificent Shiva, the Hindu God
The caves within radiant and bright
Simply took us by surprise
In the hour of night
A brilliant ,golden sunrise!
Now resubmitted for
Contest Mountains
