Mesmerized
Listen to poem:
Awestruck I stood there
Mesmerized
A strange unearthly melody
Mysterious yet so familiar
Musical notes not meant solely for my ears
Pure gold nectar engulfing my heart
Caressing and enchanting my soul
Angels or beings from the other side
Surely created this heavenly chant
Like a rainfall of aromatic petals
Awakening my senses
Soothing and healing bruises I forgot I had
The symphony sways me, transports me
As barriers seem to suddenly vanish
To open infinite dimensions
As on an astral trip
Back home to visit
And one day to return
