Mermaid Tea
My lover was a coffee
and a sugar cube
And was lost forever
solving what a man could feud
Till I came upon a tea
that was cold and wet
and a mermaid saw me crying
for a love that's debt
And I said I'd never
wonder what a women meant
When I knew she never wondered
what a man had lent
And we said we'd live forever
for a life we'd live
separate from our souls together
that a Father'd give
So we never lived forever
for a love that's free
When we never understood
what was each to be
As all living came to end us
for a love we'd see
When we walked around our noses
for what's virtually
And we never came to gather
for a holy man
Till The Father kicked our asses
in a horrible plan
That we never got to listen
to an evil clan
When along the road forsaken
was the whole of man!
Back again I saw the coming
of the lord I am
When the window to the world
was the host of l'mb
And it's said I wondered waiting
for just who I am
When the traffic calling to me
was the fate I damn
And a woman telling to me
that she's late I stand
For a calling to my future
in a Father's hand
And a woman knows to nothing
that a man can't stand
What a love to last forever
is a Holy Hand
