Mercy Against Me

The mercy for someone else.
Doesn’t have to be a “falling sideways” comet on me.
Doesn’t have to be a small animal curling up against space rays.
It’s me, and I’m not against a person who wished mercy for themselves.
Into the wishing well with me in there.
Like the bottom of a toilet bowl.
Ends up on the turned over, rugged, howling earth.
The mercy for someone else…
Isn’t why I’m flying on a comet headed to a volcano.
It’s better to think of him under a tree with flowers floating everywhere.
The mercy for someone else.
Didn’t destroy me because I’m more than a burnt patch of grass hit by his light.
I have a disability.
I took it on for some reason,
Maybe it sent some mercy out in a current, in a crash that hit his head.
Turned him ok.
