Mercy
I posted a sign Mercy Lost it read
for my temper and sins I've shed
for my accusations I have been tried
and when the pain became worse I died
only by the mercy found in God was I saved
when it was dark I should've prayed
but my demons stopped me and fought me
then God said enough and showed me mercy
with one eye open I saw a new path before me
I ran so fast I ran over the devil into God
I raised my weary head and shouted halleluah
and I went and tore down my old sign
and posted this one which reads
