Mental Toughneess

More mental toughness, More togetherness, More mental toughness More happiness, More mental toughness. More kindness More mental toughness, More openness, More mental toughness, More gratefulness. Less mental toughness, Less togetherness, Less mental toughness, Less happiness, Less mental Toughness, Less kindness, Less mental toughness, Less openness, Less mental toughness, Less gratefulness. How do we become mentally tough? How do we know when we have become greedy enough? How do we know when we are lying in a pig trough? How do we know when we should give up stuff? How do we know when we have become mentally tough? I think it is when we look up more than we look down. I think it is when we can see others look up to us and not down. I think it is when we help others up and don't put them down. I think it is when a stuff up does not get us down. I think it is when we can stand up and refuse help to wind the day down. I think it is when we show up, because we don't want to let others down. I think it is when we feel no need to clam up or shut down. I think it is when our frown has its up side, down.

Hello David … a thought provoking poem indeed. My thoughts were after reading your poem with many fine quotes is mental toughness can defeat depression - very good indeed David - Lindsay

Thanks for taking time to read. We can but try. I got some of my mental toughness from my parents, who came from an error when discipline and sense of duty to family got them through and life was not easy for anybody. Also a lot of things were for the next generation to do better. A lot of that is gone now, so that mental toughness is not role modelled. We can only pray and cling to hope. God bless David

- So many thoughts ... Thoughts are just thoughts and it is not important what you think, but how much time you choose to spend on the thoughts and how much attention you give them, David :) - Happy weekend :) - hugs // Anne-Lise :)

Thanks for those thoughtful comments which I can concur with. That is why friends are important to keep things in perspective. Too many many people are left isolated and alone to dwell on things and lose perspective. Yes I will enjoy my weekend. Regards David
