Mental Illness and Prayer

 “We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;” ~ 2 Corinthians 4:8 NKJV

It’s tough living with a mental illness,
and yet I keep hoping and praying...

Sometimes I’m praying for a sound mind,
and sometimes the cry of my heart is...

 Help! Help! Help!

I don’t always know what to pray;
And sometimes I don’t know
if I’d recognize the answers to my prayers
standing right in front of me...

Tonight, I sit silently, just waiting,
yearning for God to move in my life

in ways beyond my imagination...
