Mend My Heart

As I lay on the ground,
In the dark abyss.
Waiting for death,
To take me away,
To the heavens above.
There is a light,
Rising above me.
I open my eyes,
And I see you.
My love.
You see my pain,
And the blood all over.
You take me in your arms,
Look deep into my eyes,
Tears drop down my face,
You take my hands,
Over my heart.
You heal me,
You sew my heart back together.
You love me,
And you mend my heart...
