Parents killed brutally
Matter trivial
Upper caste involved
Compensation announced
Forty lakhs
Reason
Placating minorities
Two sons
Then minors
Now turn 18
Eligible for compensation
Sumit younger
Enquires for money
“Some more paperwork,”
Suneet clarifies
Less than a year
Separating the two
“Why 40?”
Sumit further asks
“Twenty each-
Mom and Dad,”
Suneet explains
Two shots fired
Suneet gets killed
“Why settle for 20
Why not 60?”
Sumit coldly remarks
“But now
The hard task-
Pass on this murder
As caste war,”
Sumit says nonchalantly.
