Men

Men
Loud and proud.
Doing what they want,
when they want.
Rough,tough.
Being who they want to be
no matter what.
Caring,sharing.
Well, some of them do.
Hurting, flirting.
Thinking all girls are theirs,
to take, to use.
Shoving,loving.
Love is no stranger,
neither is harm.
Men,
a gift to the world,
in some eyes.

The one-word title drew me in, Violet, and this is the way a lot of men come off. There are exceptions, of course, but it sounds like you've captured the "rough, tough" spirit very well. Love, Carolyn
