Memory Loss
Mind forgets thoughts of recent times,
Etch blurry lines of my story;
Even new plots seem spent of rhyme,
Try to divine a glimpse to see.
Must time erase the new thoughts here?
Expect to lift some new recall,
Mindset can trace some sense of cheer,
Offer a gift that sweetens gall;
Reach for a point to live fond tale,
Yield to a light that comes to be.
Live verse that join in carefree trails,
Observe fond sights that eyes still see;
Sense vistas fade as day departs,
Stillness now trades in broken parts.
