Memory Lane

MEMORY LANE

You and I down memory lane
aligned the passage of oaks the same
footprints left for us to confess.
jacaranda of petals the ground carpet dress

Your face alight below the brim.
enjoying the moment in comforting sin.
with blue painted moon and white painted clouds
to heavens that opened where two were the crowd.

With kisses of passion, emotions an avalanche
cherished the day that won’t go away,
devoted we promised, our love to remain
for all the tomorrows from then on which came.
