Memory Lane

As I take a look back, I look back what my life was to what it became and only I can stop the rain yeah dats my M.O. and trust me these poems ain't nothin but a lyrical masterpiece so to me it's my poetic memo so dats what iz, and I been sanctified lyrically to unify, be a role model to these teens thats thinking bout suicide and I'm done choosing sides so my mental is like do or die, who am I I'm dat street corner dat these street pharmaceutical thugs, gang banga's hugged when this world became too much but honestly it's never enough and hate is everywhere love used to be ain't nobody trying to overcome it just looks like slavery and civil rights woke up from extinction, the smell, stench, and resdue the devil left still resides on the hemisphere but who really cares anymore it's all about making it threw the storm and lyrically August 2004 a poet was born so in memory of the late great Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. so will I take my throne raise up every lost soul till the good Lord carries me home in the same manner Jesus left so thats why I keep my right fist in the sky and beat on my chest the word of GOD resides in my left breast
