Memory Lane

Can walk across,
Can reach out,
but never to return
down the memory lane...

Only whispered figures,
of black and white,
where only remembrance
brings its colours…

Hold them in your heart,
grasp its smiling hands
let it never be lost,
in the memory lane so long.
