Memory

Tears of velvet spheres roll down
I remember things that pleased me
They took my life turned it upside down
Then put me on a level ground

The love that will never die
Held forever it makes me cry
That I lost those days and times
But others came in and took control

They can never take my soul
A spirit free you gave to me
I know it will last into eternity
A love that is a joining of two

I felt your mind it held me so
Then I knew I couldn’t let you go
You hide here with me in comfort so
But sometimes the tears just roll

They roll for all the physical things
That plague other lovers ways
We have kept this love of our Spirit
Till we meet again at the end of our days
