Memory

Flying over a fading field,
Mourning over a faded
memory,
Lost In darkness,
unable to find light,
But In darkness I can see now,
I'm Stuck in an unending
plight.
Forever trapped,
in an ever winding stair,
Forever trapped,
In the darkness of my despair.
Why would I cry,
Over what I wasn't afraid to
do.
Why would I weep,
Over what I chose to be,
Fading into a
Memory.
We're all another
Memory.
I see a distant face,
Fast it's fading,
Becoming another
Memory.
We've all become a
Memory.
Forever trapped,
In an ever winding stair,
Forever trapped,
In the darkness of my despair.
Sunset has come and passed,
Leaving behind
A moonless night.
Light has become a
memory.
Now I'll  become a
memory.
