My dreams seem to revisit the past events of my life to show me all of the mistakes I made and teach me the lessons I missed on the way. I'm a live- in-the-moment kind of guy at this point in my life. Enjoyed your Haiku, Sotto.

Memoirs do bring back the past - I never wish to relive the past because it certainly had its happy and cherished moments, but no man is without hurt in his life, for example I lost a child at 5 days old - a very sad period but your haiku rings absolutely true, so well penned my friend - hugs and blessings. Strange I don't yearn for the past. I am only concerned of the future.
