Memories That Will Last

The day breaks of morning dew
As it glistens brightly I think of you
Shiny now against brightening blue
I remember you in all the things I do

A quiet time to reflect and remember
Those special memories I do tender
Of days when laughter was king
And happiness that being with you brings

Now darkness brings a quietness found
As I reflect this silent sound
Days of old reflect our past
Of memories that will last.

The best company when no one is around and you are feeling a little lonely, is all your nicest memories. Like a warm blanket or a cool breeze they can bring a smile you your lips and gladness to your heart. A beautiful poem Paul. Truly lovely. Best wishes Wendy
