Memories Set Free
Like colored leaves on a tree , some memories were set free...
Some say its better to cry, rather then keep it inside without a try..
It took months of bleeding and grieving as time played without seeing...
Now that I have held good and bad in one hand, I could write and still stand...
Laying out on paper all these hills and rough roads , for that time I was not a
prince just a miss guided toad...
My eyes see the rain behind the sunshine, if only for awhile it still keeps me
ahead in the line...
Tears now have melted in my face, left with small aged wrinkles and just a
hint of sadness as a trace...
Stories behind these eyes fill pages on my wall, each a step that reaches high
and keeps me from a fall....
