Memories On the Breeze
What wouldn't I give
to get back the time
when life seemed simpler to live
and plans alone were fine.
Some of those hopes and dreams
never were fulfilled
but joy and laughter redeemed
the efforts spilled.
Now, as both dreams and you are gone
only the memories ride on the breeze
and somewhere background plays our song
whispering I Love You on the windy seas.
