Memories of You

Memories of you, are buried so, deep in my heart. Such a smile, you carried, with your sweet soul. Nineteen-Sixty-Nine we were so, young my dear. What a summer, we shared that year, of perfective memories. Still loving you, even as time, closes in on us. wrote 8-30-07 about the year my wife and i started going steady.

So beautiful! This poem touches my heart, reminds me of where I was and who I was with that year. Time does have a way of covering the past like a warm blanket on a chilly evening. Thanks for sharing this tender memory. Karen
