Memories of Love

Of memories of love I’ve had a few I’ve stored inside the niches of my mind - to call them up whenever I’m inclined. The one that shines for me with brightest hue was once upon a time, with one I knew, who kissed me gently as we intertwined. But often, simple acts that were quite kind escape my recall; they are no less true. . . For instance, there’s my mother’s love for me and how she always puts my needs above her own; my friends’ and family’s easy grace; my husband’s steadfast ways; my dear dog’s glee on seeing me; thus, memories of love most precious are the ones most common-place. Andrea Such a wonderful and caring write. It made me feel loved and all warm and cozy. You did a great job expressing love in different ways with different people. Nice job Hugs Thanks for the kind and silly comment on my Christmas And Children poem

oo I feel, a fun rhythm here.. you are teasing with every kind of love here. i fell a little laugh here, when you are adding the glee of a dog. it is funny, when a dog's love can be felt.. but you know what A mothers unconditional love is the best.. I think, even way better than my Nathan's. I love the way I keep all kinds of love in my mind. Like the sun, each individuality love has it's own tone. My kids think I love my granddaughter more than them..lol.. every-time i get home or she goes to my restaurant my eyes light up like your dear dog..lol.. i even feel like wagging my tail ((if i had one)) when Royal drops her off at my job.. he he he.. she brings out the Niagara-falls out on me..I'm running all kinds of love that moment..non-stop.. xox..pd

A beautiful poetry on love. Thanks for your comments on my poem too. I do not consider myself a poet, so categorize my poems as light poetry. I would like you to suggest me a better categorization, as you seem to know about poems a lot better than me. Meanwhile, I will continue enjoying your poems cheers suresh

love is a precious place to look back when you had this love, but a mother's love will never go away.when your husband is unworthy of it these days. -Always&Forever LYnette

Excellent! You blew me away with the beauty of your reflective sonnet. I've yet to try writing an Italian sonnet, love the soft, easy flow of this one :)

This is a really nice poem. It means to me, "how many people do I love and in how many ways." I enjoyed it. As for Gen Y – there’s tons of legal positions a licensed attorney can have. For instance, some jobs are: clerk of courts, jury management, and director of domestic abuse, attorney for a local bank or credit union, school district, elected official. Many news reporters are licensed to practice law. Also, engineers doctors or lawyers always find jobs. Private practice is good too.

I'm reading "Polishing Stones" in your "Dreaming the Unicorn." Like your choice of stones. The agate is the most beautiful of all polished stones so far as I am concerned. your poetry IS like the agate - beautifully polished. Love, Dave

Per your comment, I think this approach is far more interesting -- at least for me. But everyone has their own opinion. Hope Constance appreciates your creative interpretation of the assigned theme. Love, Carolyn
