Memories of Bob

Four years have slipped by
In the blink of an eye
We know you are gone
It does seen so wrong

You were still a young man
And we did all we can
Could not keep you here
But your spirit is very near

Our memories are strong
Of one who could do no wrong
We miss you each day
Since you have gone away

Some day we will meet again
We will remember till then
God took you away
Now we wait for our day

What a wonderful poem!! Sad but uplifting at the same time. Bob sounds like he was a special person. Thanks for sharing him this way.

He was an exceptional man and everyone's favorite person. He was a wonderful stepdad to my children who were already grown and a great grand father. He will always be missed by all of us Thanks for the visit. Blessings Edith

We were all blessed to have him in our lives and he is there every day in what we do. Some people never are gone even when they leave this earth. Every one has such good memories of a good man Love you Mom

I really like this style and the tribute you are making here. Mama Bear, did I use to know you by another name? for some reason, you seem familiar to me.

We may lose people in our lives but memories are always there as long as we have the ability to remember. Bob was 64 and he lived life to the best of his ability so who can ask for more. Thanks for the read Blessings Edith

Your words took stage and treated the reader to a glimpse of the love you held and continue to hold for your deceased son, Bob. Emile.
