MEMORIES OF AUTUMN

Her golden dance
Has come and gone;
She used to stun
And to enhance
Her beauty with
Her graceful poise,
Her rainy voice.
She’s now a myth…
Beneath my shawls
I winter-grieve
The dance of leaves,
The golden walz.
