Memories In Ink

Those precious memories
We hold so dear
For many, come in
Fine print. The words
Which caress our emotions
Crush our hearts
The words which we
Hold so dearly. No color
Remains in our hearts
Other than
The black and white
On the pages before us
For our memories are
In text. Those words
Swirl in our hearts and
Tease our minds, yet
We hold them so close
Those precious memories in ink.
