Memories Fade

we dine on memories
chocolate caked cherries
glass of White Zinfandel
moment blowing a kiss

I s-i-e-g-e

brief moments he is mine

nights and days together
have always intertwined
a gift of love divine

never letting it fade

Beautiful and touching, Eve! Unimportant memories tend to fade away, but those close to our heart stay with us for ever more. Hugs // paul

Great poem Eve, isn't it sad that one partner always has to go first - heartbreaking. Hugs, Jennifer.

Time does fade our cherished memories and we cling to them as best as we can. Hope you're well Eve. Tom
